Jayson began his bartending career at Shady Lady Saloon in 2009. Within three years he received the SF Eater’s Bartender of the Year Award and became General Manager at one of the most famous bars in the United States, Bourbon & Branch. His encyclopedic knowledge of spirits is accentuated by a passion and appreciation of the business of the bar industry. Rarely does one find an individual whose talent and appreciation for the craft eclipse the social aspects of the industry. Loved by his staff at “The Branch,” he will be missed as he forges ahead now as an owner.
